Maggie-ADOPTED.
Maggie is our nine-year-old ex-breeding girl who is looking for a very special family. Maggie is experiencing a whole new life and is sometimes a little afraid of new things she has not experienced previously. Loud noises really startle her. We believe that with time and patience she will learn to trust that she is safe and will settle to become a treasured member of her new family. Due to this, we feel that it would be in the best interests of Maggie to settle into her forever family sooner rather than later.
The delay to her recovery is a direct result of the heavy flea burden that she had when she came into care, which leaves her still very anemic. Full details of her medical requirements will be discussed directly with prospective families prior to their meet and greets.
Maggie has come such a long way from living in a dirt run to now living inside as part of a family where she loves to cuddle with her humans on the couch. She is house trained, happy to use a doggy door.she really doesn’t like sharing her humans too much so we are looking for her to be an only dog going forward. We are specifically looking for a quiet home with no small children or other pets, and a super patient Mum and Dad that are home more often that not and can introduce her to all the exciting things in her new world.
